Sunday 6/2/13 Pastor Michael sermon We Need the Blood of Jesus! Luke 8:43-48, Matt 9:20-22

A woman had an issue of blood for 12 long years. She went to many doctors and could not be healed. One day she heard about Jesus who had purified blood. Her blood was unclean and she couldn’t go out in public without humiliation. One day she heard Jesus was passing by and she pleaded for Jesus’s blood. She said if she could touch the hem of his garment, she knew she would get healed. She said within herself that she would be healed. She told herself this. Sometimes we need to tell this to ourselves! Encourage ourselves-God will fix it. We have to get sick and tired of being sick and tired! Plead the blood of Jesus! There is so much power…Power in the Blood of Jesus!

The woman pressed herself thru the crowd of people and touched Jesus’s hem. Immediately Jesus felt something. He said someone who believed in change had touched him. As soon as the woman touched his garment, her blood issues stopped. Virtue had left Jesus and He knew it. The woman had a Faith touch! She came to Jesus for what only He could give to her. She believed that touching the hem of Jesus would make her whole!

When Jesus asked who had touched him, the woman was afraid but confessed that she had touched him. She thought she was in trouble because she was unclean and had touched Him. Jesus said to her that her faith had made her whole! The woman had come to get something from Jesus. She had FAITH! Jesus is passing by in here so reach up and touch Him! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!!
