Whenever the storms of life are raging
then the heart seeks in what to do
For there are times it needs some answers
to get help while going through

What do we do, when the winds are blowing
should we stay until they go by
What to do O' Lord while being in them
should we wait until they subside

What steps should we take the soul does ask
it's an earnest question for right now
You being the Prince of Peace, that know our frame
please send more of your power down

Because if we have to go on this journey
stir us from each trap and snare
O' Lord strengthen our hearts for each hour
so that we will be able to bear

You know each step that we have to take
and you always know ahead of time
And this is why we need your guidance
when the hills seem hard to clime

Lord this is why we do need a refreshing
so our soul cries out to you
For on every mile that we have to go
only you can bring us through
