O' precious women of faith, God knows each sorrow
and will show his grace through thee
In your pains and troubles, you yet was chosen
and he has work for you and me

He does searchs out one's to prove his power
vessel's endowned with faith and love
Through us, can take the bad, to fulfill the good
so others will know it came from above

The rivers of troubles holds so many blessings
that's why they will shift at God's command
Though it's been tough and times a little rough
but he's still holds us in his hands

He takes the foolish things to confound the wise
so that no glory can anyone claim
And whatever he does, is beyond mere thoughts
and it's a promised that we will gain

Through the deepest waters he was always there
in the lowest depths he gave us his hand
And through the towering waves he did carry us
so that you and I was able to stand

Be of good cheer, O' fair maidens of God
for everything is in, his control
See he owns the waters that flow each day
and our lives he surly does hold

Now in the furnace of afflictions we we chosen
in the valley's low, we obeyed the call
Through the darkest days we had been planted
and don't have to fear that we will fall

Every sorrow there was, not one was forgotten
honor will be bestowed on each and one
Though being grieved in spirit at times we were
there is nothing that will be left undone

The greatness of his power will be seen by others
who called the winds from the north
For nothing can move without his say so
and then his works will come forth

God has established you and I for his purpose
yes, in the fire he let us be tired
And whatever was done it was to give him glory
for the grace that he had suppied

For he made the rivers to be kind to us
and not once did they overflow
He took the same river and turned it to joy
now inside us there shines his glow
