The Lord wants to fill up, the little heart cup
so that it can have an overflow
Because he's trying to fulfill his purpose in us
though it's taking a little bit slow

There will come a few tests on this trail
can you deal with, a few bits of dust
And take a few stones being thrown at you
will you still on a wise God to trust

Now we can't afford to lose our sight
but to take every step with hope
Let it be buried within, deep in our hearts
we'll be given the strength to cope

He has marked his approval, on each list
it's been signed on the bottom line
So pull out of you some joy, and ride it out
for he holds the date and time

We have to accept or not the trials before us
for they are included in his plan
And on each run, another tracks been laid
through-by the help of God's hand

We don't have to turn loose on any dark day
or to shut down, the job, God, gave you
Pick up them feet, don't ever accept defeat
and just go on and enjoy the view

Now the victory is already in your hands
no one can take that ride from you
The power you process, is for yours to keep
that's to help to bring you through

Many desires the trip, but won't pay the cost
want to ride on another's paid fair
Though known to them, it comes with a price
also a willing heart it must be there

Ask yourself do you have, the proper grip
to motivate you for this plight
If you don't, just ask God to stir you up
then let faith, be your eye sight

God wants to give to us, a prophetic vision
all backed up with his word divine
And if you can believe it, you can receive it
for God always works on time
