Here's Scott's response to my letter Re: Hollywood article

As I mentioned before Scott was a friend of mine who I met around 1987 at Charles Schwaab. He knew how to crunch numbers when it came to figuring out financial calculations which is something I was never very good at because of my weakness in math.

Last time I had contact with Scott was around 2001. At that time Scott was not very knowledgeable about religion especially Christianity but he was asking me some questions which I was glad to answer. However, Scott didn't like my answers or responses on a few occasions so he discontinued our communication. I try to keep in contact with most of my friends but as to this day I have no idea where Scott is or what happened to him.

This guy seems to feel that if you get enough publicity on the local level, publicity along the lines of regular positive reviews in newspapers like the Stockton Record and the Lodi Sentinel that would have been better. His point was that you did need a fatter local resume for Hollywood to see. He would have though that the large gap between Brigadoon and your plays in Manteca and Lodi was too big. Of course his point about Hollywood being the pros is dead on the money. He does leave out the fact that networking is the most important thing you can do here. He also leaves out the fact that Hollywood gives big advantages to friends and family.

My girlfriend and I saw the Linda McCartney Story on Sunday night. It was a wonderful portrayal of her life. I hope you got an opportunity to see it.

Yesterday (May 22nd) the Nasdaq Composite got down to about 3200
before rebounding to close above the 3332 area that was the current bottom. With the interest rate increases continuing, the market consensus is that this correction will breach on a closing basis
the 3332 area and go further down. I still think long term (3-5+ year) investors can buy at this area. If you are going to play this thing on a short term basis, I would sell into strong (250+ point) rallys. I hope all is well with you otherwise.
