Here is an email letter from a young Jewish man that my friend Gregory Heard sent me when I lived in Hollywood, CA back in August 1999. Greg and I were examining several MLM (Multi-Level Marketing opportunities dealing with technology companies such as unlimited long distance phone service, Pre-Paid Legal Service and such like business opportunities and I believe Gregory met Ian through a lead generation or referral for this MLM opportunity.
The following was sent to Gregory Heard and myself by Ian Mitnick a young Jewish man who had recently been introduced to the Christian faith by I believe Gregory. Gregory was excited to share Ian's interest in the Lord with me during this time. Since Ian knew I also professed the Christian faith through Greg's interaction, Ian also wanted to share his letter of concern to me to inform me about his father's thoughts on this matter.


Saturday August 7, 1999 7:15PM


Greg and Carlton- its Ian- I just talked with my father for hours and told him I was a Christian- he believes in evolution and says there is firm uncontroversial evidence for it. He also showed me "Circular reasoning" - he said that the Bible is written by men and there's no proof whatsoever that God or heaven or an afterlife exists. He said it does not make logical sense that only Christians would go to heaven. He thinks the earth is a billion years old and the universe is billions of years old. He said just because the Bible is called holy doesn't mean it's absolute truth-he said that if Satan sent anyone who believed in Christ to Hell and all others went to heaven-he flipped it around-he said there's no evidence for Satan, angels, demons or even the Adam and Eve story being literal.

I will let you know however that I am still a Christian-although a young immature one-but I am still a Christian.

My father said how can I be part of a religion that forgives murderers and child molesters who after forgiven go to heaven.
