THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

Our words posses great power
A careless word spoken can cut deep
Words that can keep you from sleep
What we say we can not take back

Cruel words can destroy a life
The worse form of any attack
No excuse, knowledge you lack
The tongue to guard by the hour.

A kind word can change a life
Encouragement with some love
The gift of speech from above
The right word to reduce strife.

Be careful of what you say
Think before you speak
You can make a difference
Use your words that heal today!
