"For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death." Psalm 48:14


Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ can you say in your heart that the true and living God is your God forever AND ever? What rapturous delight to speak this truth by the Holy Spirit.

God in all His perfections and attributes is ours if we have been born again and brought into His Kingdom. There is nothing lacking for us who know God. He is a river that never runs dry or stops flowing.

He is a cup that is always full so that we have no need to refill it when we're thirsty. Indeed our cup runneth over.
Psalm 23:5

Think much about the many kindnesses that God has shown you even when you didn't deserve them. It is the goodness of God which leads you to repentance. Romans 2:4

You have much sin in your life and past manner of living but that is no barrier to the great mercy of our God. Mount Zion is high and exalted because of the faithfulness of her King. God's judgments fall swift on His enemies and the enemies of His people which is the body of Christ, the church of the Most High God.

Be encouraged despite how bad things seems right now. No matter how your finances fare, for better or for worse you must
rejoice. Phil 4:4 It doesn't matter if your health is sick
and weak or strong and well God will be our guide even unto death.

This body is dying and will see corruption some day because of our sin. Sin brings death "for the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH." Romans 6:23a

But note well the second half of that verse, "But the GIFT OF GOD Is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord." 6:23b

Because Jesus Christ triumphed over sin and death through His glorious work of atonement on the cross we can live and have everlasting life. Our bodies will see the grave but they will resurrect at the final hour when all who are in the graves will come forth.

28. "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." John 5:28-29

Yes, our God will guide us even unto death meaning God will guide us over death unto resurrection-over the Jordan to the land of Canaan.

Just as our souls have experienced the resurrection so will our bodies also experience the resurrection on the Last Day. John 11:24

Glory be to God for this God is our God forever and ever.
