Our journey here below
Is just for a period of time
It’s like a dress rehearsal
Where we practice our lines
We’re not meant here to stay
We are preparing for a better place
So keep your eyes up ahead
On the finish line at the end of this race
God has a plan for each of us
He shapes us into vessels He can use
He has a use for every pot
Even those that are cracked and bruised
He refines us in the fire
With trials He brings our way
They are meant to strengthen us
As we come to Him and pray
If the going was always easy
We would have no need of Him
But when we stumble and fall
He picks us up and sets us on our feet again.
