Satan fights on the battlefield of the mind
Searching for some weakness to find.
He’s seeking whom he may devour
But over the Christian he has no power.
So he came up with a back-up plan
To deceive with lies the mind of man.
Sometimes he comes like a roaring lion
Other times twisting the truth and lyin’.
If he can cause me to stumble
Then down my faith will tumble.
I can be held captive by those lies
Not knowing God’s truth it defies.
A healthy mind is constantly active
A healthy spirit takes every thought captive.
The truth that I receive
Can set me free from the lies I believe.
It will set my spirit free
When my mind is steadfast in Thee.



II Cor. 10:5 Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
