I'm a light eater -- as soon as it's light, I eat.

When Betty reads this she'll know what I'd like for lunch -- a bowl
of her homemade crockpot applesauce with half a pear on top and a
dollop of Coolwhip® topped with a cherry. The slow overnight
crockpot cooking brings out the natural sweetness of the apples so
she doesn't have to add sugar (I'm diabetic). Try it!

We all have favorite foods. There used to be a series of songbooks
called "Favorites." Most of us have favorite Bible verses, friends,
books, places to go, stores, musicians and/or entertainers. On and
on the list of favorites extends.

But aren't you glad that God has no favorites and treats each one of
us with the same grace? At times, you may think you are a worth-
less nobody, but God doesn't view you that way, so why should
you?

In Matt. 10:29 (nlt), Jesus said, "Not even a sparrow, worth only
half a penny, can fall to the ground without your Father knowing
it." If God is concerned about all life, surely he is especially
concerned about you. Believe it!
