Over the course of what many would call an interesting life, others, well who knows, on occasion I have experienced scary times, times when everything seems to have hit a wall and are languishing. During one of these times an old man, back then he was way up in his forties, said; "Larry, what you need is a fresh idea."

The late businessman, Jim Rohn said, "Ideas can be life changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea." So, the question; Where does one more good idea come from?

The possible sources of a good idea are as endless as God's creation. One good idea is often the combination of several good ideas or the addition of new insight into a well-worn idea. The Bible is the mother lode of ideas. Literature, media, a friend and often a conversation unrelated to the current need will spew out an idea that changes everything. As much as "Macho Man Larry" hates to admit it, I have been given some very good ideas over the last fifty years from my girlfriend who became my wife forty seven years ago.

Jesus covers the power of prayer including ideas that come from God in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
