Choose to make a difference

Let our hearts be broken Lord
Melt them down in love
May our souls pour compassion
Instead of push and shove

Neighbor’s lives torn to shreds
Ours have not been changed
We preach hope but offer less
Leaving them estranged

People who have lost it all
Everything they own
We move on with our lives
Tossing them a bone

There is much work to be done
The witness field is full
Hearts needing to see love
Attracted by God’s pull

With opportunity so ripe
In some way partake
God will honor sacrifice
Forsake Spring break
