Handle With Care

If we fail to define right and wrong
we lose the truth along the way
As opinions breed more opinions
creating loopholes of disarray

If the truth is to be twisted
it then becomes a “not”
Accepting less than itself
turns it into an ink blot

Wrongs can then be perceived
what society deems them be
Can we toss aside what is right
if a majority will agree?

Allowing the truth to be distorted
failing to stand up for right
Mankind’s oaths become meaningless
as integrity leaves its sight

Always handle truth with solemn care
don’t perjure it to be heard
For if the truth loses authority
It is just another word…
