Preachers, motivators and other leaders have asked in one form or another, “What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?” This questioned is posed to get you to thinking about probabilities in your life that you have kept pushing back in the caverns of “Someday Isle.” The only hope for those who dream of “Someday Isle” is to change the dream to “I will start now.”

When you start toward a project you must learn that the path to completion is going to have some bumps and curves of doubt. Christians especially have a problem with periods of doubt, but if we are to never doubt, why does the scripture have so much to say about pressing on in spite of some form of doubt?

William Morris, the painter wrote, "I tell you it's no joke to paint a portrait. Into the painting of every picture that is worth anything, there comes a period of doubt and despair."

I assure you that Morris’s statement is true no matter whether you are painting a portrait or building an Empire State building or even the grandest of all, a lasting marriage. In all of life doubt is the result of focusing on the human side and faith that overcomes doubt is placing faith in God. Jesus Christ trumps the human. Luke 17:5 “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” As you proceed faith comes.
