Shakespeare said that the world is a stage meaning that we are living out our life as characters or actors on that stage. Our life is a living drama and I might add this as a metaphorical analogy. Life is one big web page full of content and graphics. Life is full of content,that is, words that we hear, words that we read and that we speak.

The people that we meet, the places that we visit, the pictures that we see in our minds these are the graphics. So we live out a story. We are part of that story-that picture book.

If we don't see our life as having any meaning or purpose then it seems futile. We ask ourselves where is the narrative to a story that doesn't make any sense right? We have to understand that humanism does not make a good story and neither does scientism or psychology. None of them can make any sense out of our life but Christianity can. It tells us why we're here. It tells us our purpose.

If your're a son or father you know what your role is as a Christian from God's vantage point right? We are living out our lives for a purpose-to the glory of God. Unlike the existentialist philosophy which says gthat life has no purpose. Why? There's no God to give it purpose or meaning. That's why suicide is very common amongst some existentialists and humanistic psychologists. They can't find any meaning outside themselves.

Meaning is to be found in God and faith is not to be put in human nature. We simply have to believe what God says about human nature. So our faith is in God and not in human nature.
