We will come through the troubled waters
and we the ship will not go down
For Jesus our captain, He's at the helm
making sure that we don't drown

In the deepest areas, He will hold us
through the darkest nights, He is there
And no weapons formed, against us will stand
for He's in control of every affair

He will secure us through the highest waves
that come to toss us round and about
But we have the faith to believe He knows
when and how to bring us out

Our trials and tests are only for a moment
though they may seem to last forever
But our God is with us, while we're in them
and we do all, hope for the better

We can make our boast in the Lord
we can claim what He has promised us
He is a towering strength, that has no might
oh it is good in him to trust

Our Savior has control of the purchased vessel
and before long we will see the light
And we can rest assure, He will fix it for us
and that everything is going be all right
