The Lord shapes our heart after His very own
He designs it with utmost love and care.
The heart stands out above all other parts
It is the crowning glory of God.

The heart clutches at the love it receives
It gives back twice in return
In ways both varied and strange
But nevertheless, it is love given without any doubt.

The heart may seem cloistered at times
The reason because it holds so much of love within.
The heart longs to touch another heart
To pour a heap of golden love dust over it.
Brush it with the finest love lines
Until it shines with a dazzling décor.

The furnishings of the heart
Are the emotions concealed inside.
The grand cover over it a soft touch
To the feelings fastened in place.

Only love can triumph in a wonderful heart
Merge it with another beautiful heart
Heal, soothe and kiss the heart
To finally form the heart of hearts.
