Before the celebrations start
Before the red carpet is laid out
The siege is already laid to the heart.

Before the lights illuminate
Before an important date is marked
Before the great day dawns
The heart jumps by leaps and bounds.

Before the orchestra plays
Before the fountains dance
Before the wine pours out in good measure
The heart twirls in exhilarating joy.

Before the heavens roll down the mantle
Before the angels sing in exultation
The divine blessings commence flowing
The heart is now fully captivated in anticipation.

Before the curtain is raised
Before the grand show begins
Before the world is awed in wonder
The heart is already spell bound as it awaits.
