HE KNOWS ME


He knew me before time began,
God had chosen me from the start.
Before he gave me life, he knew my name
And a plan for me was on his heart.

He knows my frame and all my thoughts,
But he loves me anyhow,
For the desires of my heart he has concern,
And all my needs he will provide for now.

I may not understand his plan
Or what he has in store for me,
I know that all things work for good
If I love him and trust him implicitly.

I belong to him and he is mine,
My saviour, redeemer he is one of a kind.
Holy Spirit that dwells in me,
Fills me up and and sets me free.

I hope to run the race right to the end
His name I will forever defend.
Jesus the lover of my soul
He has chosen me and made me whole.
