While within, the darkest hours
there, is peace and light
When it's pouring rain, lighting and thunder
inside, the soul is sunny and bright

Such a calmness was given to me
through-by a loving God
Which kept me still, while in the storm
until over and pass on by

Now my heart didn't fear, in those hours
for He was in the storm
Then the soul rejoiced, knowing it was ok!
and that it, was safe from harm

He holds every blessing in His hands
and my life He holds so dear
I do thank Him for His grace and mercy
also showing me that He was near

If God can keep me in, the midst of the storm
how much more, when it is fair
Then thought- as I listened, as it began to cease
so's life storms here, then soon not there
