Here comes God, and right on time
and not one day too late
Then these hands of mine, gave him praise
that for me he did vindicate

When I felt his presence surround me
feeling his spirit as he came by
Oh nothing can take place of the anointing
that will surly give you a high

The joy was welling up all within my soul
pouring down deep inside of me
And then his word inspired me at that moment
for the spirit reveals what eyes don't see

This comes at a time after you have suffered
the many feats that came your way
There remains a reward when we have endured
he sends the sun to brighten up our day

How do you know when the time is here
did you hold each hour in a glass
Were there messages sent, to convey our answers
and just when will it come to pass

O' Lord my King, full of love and compassion
so glad you came to see about me
And I open my heart, in what you will impart
the one and only who holds the key

God clears the paths and makes them straight
he keeps the heart that seeks his peace
Not only just once, but always there
oh his glory it will never cease

My soul has been charged, and ignited in me
bonds were loosed as I felt the flow
For something was lifting my spirit up high
this the anointing did let me know

O'precious Lord my King, my heart will sing
for telling my soul that it is well
And I really do thank you for knowing the heart
for who else knows or can even tell

The word tells us to touch not his anointed
they are set aside a special work of God
And in knowing the charge he's placed upon them
then too what he has instilled inside

They just may be the plow to pull you out
of the things that have latched on you
So don't be so quick to be a judge and jury
God may use them to get you through
