Arise! Arise! Queen Mothers and Sisters
from the dusty trails of low esteem
Don't linger on the thoughts of why it happened
but rise up and follow your dreams
Heed the voice that says all is not lost
Don't let self-pity ride your back
Look within yourselves and find that strength
and then, get back on the track
Be proud you sisters and take your place
so those coming behind can learn from you
In how you took a hold of your life
and how you was determined to see it through
Don't look back of failures gone by
Don't even let them hang around
for you have within the power and might
To not let them keep you down
When you chose to pick a better weapon in life
for the child, that needed a mother
and even those that needed a father too
and it was also to help your sister or brother
I know sometimes it looks you'll left behind
and there is, no one to care
But God fixed that too, like anything else
and is here to help you to bear
It is never too late for you are precious
you have what it takes within
so use those tools that God's given you
and bring the negative to an end
Seek for wisdom along with knowledge
educate yourself with God's word today
for it's the key that unlocks a many of doors
and will bring good things your way
