THE LAMB’S BOOK

Is your name written in the Lamb’s book of life?
Have you gave your sin over and got rid of your strife?
The heavy load you’re bearing Jesus is waiting to take,
He’s already paid the price; he did it for your sake.

Will you be at the marriage supper of the lamb?
Have you repented to Jesus and acknowledged the great I AM?
To be round the table with our mighty king,
You must surrender to him, give him your everything.

Will you be wearing the great robes of white?
For that final day are you willing to fight?
To put on the armour and stand in the gap,
For your soul and mine Jesus took the wrap.

He died for our sin when he went to the cross,
Then he rose again so that we wouldn’t be lost.
Don’t turn away from the Father of lights,
He created you and me, we are his delight.

He knows every name that is written in his book,
Jesus longs to see yours there when he takes that final look.
So get yourself ready, don’t be left behind,
Jesus went to the cross with you on his mind.
