WAVE A BANNER
Wave a banner, wave it high,
Wave the love banner to the sky.
Majesty, Sovereign Lord,
Wave the banner to our God.
The Lion of Judah the Worthy Lamb
Jehovah Jira the Great I AM.
Emanuel, God with us,
Our precious Lord fair and just.
Fly the flag purple and gold
Fly the flag for the truth that’s told,
Son of God Holy and pure
Give his life for the rich and poor.
Lily of the valley, Morning Star
Shepherd of Israel came from afar.
Left the Father’s home above
Hung on a cross to show his love.
Man of sorrows acquainted with grief
Miracle worker, saved the thief.
Died on the cross, rose on the third day.
Went up on a cloud- he could not stay.
Blow the trumpet, sound the horn,
Jesus is coming for those reborn.
Out of the clouds every eye shall see
Home with the Saviour for all eternity.
