At times we have to be, just like the eagle
have to turn lose and let them go
Now not all the time that it's of our doing
for it could be the Lord you know.

Then he has to go by, and stir up the nest
let a few troubles blow their way
Nothing too hard that will cause any damage
and to make their hearts go astray

So how will they know rather they could fly
or even know what they can do
And some may stumble and even fall down
but, the test must be sent through

Now it's the father that says, they need a trial
put them out to fly on their own
But, mother eagle says no, it's just too soon
let them stay a little longer at home

But, again the father he knows what's best
and that he will always stay near
For he too is concern about their welfare
and his love goes beyond any fear

So there we all are watching each little flick
no the eaglets haven't left our sight
Which brings us to God in how he see's such
while each one is on their flight
