It's a wonder you haven't suffered a shipwreck
through by the many storms at sea
What's keeping you afloat, O' Ship of Zion
there are questions, how can this be?

They have seen the rolling waves a threshing
so what's keeping it from going down
Well it's easy to answer why she's still standing
her captain has been on every round

Now her Savior Had charge of the vessel
and seen her faith was still on deck
So, how could he allow, the waves wipe her out
seeing that he never forgets to check

Though the stormy winds were blowing
causing the ship to turn and toss
But, a still small voice, said, peace be still
your ship won't suffer any loss

He had control of the sea on every mile
and was kept secured by his hands
No matter how rough or tough the sailing
everything obeyed his commands

His ships are built with the best of sidings
plus he sent mercy to sail with you
His love and grace had covered every inch
given to help you make it through

Never worry O' Ship, don't give up sailing
he will be on the journey with thee
Let whatever comes to try to take you down
you just keep on looking to me

His word is given to be our anchor
that will surly bring us through
Therefore no troubled waters can wash us out
this is a promise He made to me and you
