I love when the spirit, of the Lord lift's me
after I've tacked the things I faced
For he knew about my every dilemma
that came to crowd my space

But, I never doubted God in any shape or form
through winds, rain, sleet or snow
For he forever keeps every word he says
and this he wanted me to know

Each and every day was dated
and his list was checked off each time
And every moment in an hour was recorded
being kept there in his mind

There will be a few ripples in the waters of life
some can be minor and then others are big
And at times the troubles will often double
joing as though their in a league

There were time the days were quiet and peaceful
not a rain cloud was in the sky
Then of a sudden, the tides begin to shift
causing, the waters to rise so high

But behind the dark clouds there lies an answer
to all of life's toils and snares
And soon the sun will come shining through
for we have a God who that cares

About each and every one of our problems
and gives hope at the end of the trail
So lets lean on God's word of life
for on it, we can boldly sail
