Works retail hours to bring good things,
   soldering truth into precious minds.
Joy comes with the smile that she brings
   like a cup with fragrant wine.

Her piercing gaze would make you stop
   and you'll lose sight of what you're doing.
You had a thought but you forgot,
   better things are now ensuing.

She seems to have little time for herself,
   though I doubt she ever complains.
I think to many she's a help,
   like the One with a higher Name.

She has a smile that's like a salve,
   it seems to say, “It's okay.”
I'll bet Jesus is her Valve,
   and to Him, for her, I pray.

There's not much else I can say.
I barely know her name.
Yet, like us, she has her way.
For me, it's her own fame.

Please know, my sis, you're not forgotten.
Like the words upon this page,
   you were ordained by the Begotten,
      sired by the Ancient of Days.

One day you'll see your Betrothed
    where all you can do is praise.
As He clothes you with His robe
    be struck by His piercing gaze.

You won't lose sight of what you're doing.
You were the thought He hadn't forgot.
Eternal things will be ensuing.
You'll see the grace His love bought.

So work those hours and bring good things.
He's soldering Truth in your precious mind.
Joy comes for the Love that He brings,
   like that cup of fragrant wine.

Be the one I hardly know,
   you're known by the Most Important.
We will see what He will grow,
   with His Spirit as your Adornment.

We know Jesus is your Valve,
   now to Him, for me, pray.
Show the smile that's like a salve.

For an old sister-in-Christ and a new friend. Like the poem her name is Stephanie and she is a Center Director for Sylvan. She's involved in shaping young minds.

I barely know her and yet I feel like I know what she's about. She's quiet and is slow to warm up to people. But then there are times she will do something very warm for you.

She's pretty as well, with amazing brown eyes.
