Now in all of my trials, and tribulations
it's to bring out the best of me
So Lord make this clay what you desire
then it, can be used by thee

Whatever it takes for on this journey
help me to not complain
Even when I am put through the fire
please help me to remain

I am fully aware, that I'm the enemy's target
and it's not of my own choice
But even if it's so, keep working with me
so I can more obey your voice

Lord I am thankful that you know the heart
and will always judge me right
Because, only you can see what I can be
so keep shining on me your light

Now if there be any lumps of pride
or any wrinkles that you see
Put your proving touch on every little inch
make me how you want me to be

I know the process will bring some suffering
but, it's all a part of your plans
So just have your way, with this thou clay
and help it to stay in your hands

Many won't understand such making as this
for to them it can look so bad
To see the things that you put us through
but, I'm glad that I'm not sad

Because you, the potter is very much in charge
of every dent or mar that shows
So who's better than hands, can I fall in
than a loving Savior, that who knows

So better now O'clay, than late and sorry
for this I know is a suffering way
I'm not on the outside, but accepting the call
and with his help I'm going to stay
