Is it possible to live fat, with the word
and be full but inside be empty
Has it been applied, and in your heart abide
but you still don't have sympathy

Can you tell all your enemies I forgive you
release them for what they have done
Do you hold no charge against them anymore
or is it there at each rising sun

No one did say that it would be easy
it's going to take a lot of prayer
But if you mean it, then God can move it
and one day I'd no longer be there

How can we ask God to forgive our sins
if we still haven't yet forgave
Then what can God do for our many faults
if this is part of being saved

Can we say I love you, in spite of it?
things done to us in the past
And release that hold so that they be blessed
then God's mercy on me will last

The word tells us plain, to love our enemies
forgive those who do us wrong
Let your heart be filled through and through
with his love that's true and strong

That will break every bondage big or small
heal and comfort deep within
It releases the hurts, bind up the broken heart
this love he gives can cover any sin

He didn't say take it to bed with it in your head
but bring it to him and leave it there
Don't go back and bring it up, all over again
but, believe in the power of prayer

Then you will soon begin to live
have full meaning of, the suffering of the cross
And the resurrection, unto, a new life
that will keep anyone from being loss
