Why be satisfied with a piece of the pie
when you can make that call
Oh I'll take a slice" well, that does sound nice
but, why can't you have it all

Knowing you and I know it won't be enough
it's gone when you blink an eye
So why settle for less, but, strive for the best
and go ahead and claim your sky

Now think about it, with one bite it's gone
didn't even have enough to share
One of the reasons, is to have a little more
so you will have enough to spare

Some peoples dreams are small and shallow
by being afraid to even think big
Won't ask for more, for it's too big of chore
and a voice saying, don't be a pig

We limit ourselves, for things we can have
when we only accept the crumbs
Didn't take time to read, the word for yourself
and listened to those other drums

Their thoughts didn't read what God had said
for all his promise's are ever true
yet you still have a choice in whom to believe
but, his word he will never undo

Others don't know how to butter your toast
they like margin, and you, countrycrock
Another may choose what brand they like to use
so don't let them put you on the spot

If you look at life, it's like a smorgasbord
a taste of here and a little bit there
You eat what you want, it's so much to choose
and gives you a right in what to wear

Now, it's in your hands to leave, the book open
I can close it, on whatever, the page
Or I can write it through, chapter by chapter
and be in charge or let it be upstage

So lets expand our minds to heights unknown
ask help of God to lead the way
He will not give us less if we believe his word
but, will supply the needs every day
