Mothers Day, we buy flowers for Mom and Take her to dinner, we lavish gifts to her one day a year. What about the rest of the year? Do you know that God gave women a special role here on earth? "To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed"(Titus 2:5) I remember as a child my Mother was a Homemaker as most women were then. She took pride in how the home was kept and the meals she served. Mom was the guiding light for the family, She made sure that we went to church, read our bibles, and followed in the path of Jesus. Dad was the head of the home He made the money and planned for expenses, he was the CEO so to speak, But Mom she was the Manager, she kept everything working and running smoothly. Our moms were and are the glue that keep the family unit together. So it is sad on this mothers day to know that 1 in 4 children are being raised by a single parent. That teen suicide has risen by 10% in the last 10 years. We have Children bringing weapons to school because of bullies.

Mothers represent the strength of the American family, we need to embrace that, and understand that God has given us all great mothers, and he has given them a special task to raise his children in his word, and to obey his laws and to create the leaders of the world. Is it a surprise the break down of the family unit has also come at a time when the Nations moral fabric is slowly wearing away? It is time to put aside our lust for money and power, once a week, and join our mothers and the rest of our family in church, to share that special meal that mom would create each Sunday. To remember the times as children when we felt the most secure and Loved. Does this mean that God is the answer to all of our troubles? Maybe not some things we will have to fix ourselves, but knowing God, and remembering those lessons Mom taught us as Children will make it a little easier to find the answers and to fix our Country.

Isn't time to return to the ideals that made our Country truly great, the christian idea of family, friends and fellow Americans helping one another as God commanded? After all We are all in this life together, until God calls us home. We all come into the world with nothing and will leave with nothing, why spend a life trying to achieve things that others will want to take away and loose it anyway when you die? A life misguided is a wasted life, but a life with a purpose is a life well spent. I know as a child growing up, Mom taught me to think of others and not to be selfish. Maybe this is a lesson we all need to remember this Mothers Day. Mom I know the task God has given you has been hard, but I thank God you are my Mother and I love you with all My heart, Happy Mothers Day, To all Mothers through out the World. We Love You.
