My Realization

My gift is precious because You made it so
I am so sorry for it took me long enough to know
I planned what to do with my everyday life
I guess it wasn’t meant for me, it’s not what You like

I waited for someone to tell me what to do
I was wrong again because nobody knew
I tried to copy what others are doing
But I got so bored, who am I fooling?

For the longest time, I searched everywhere
I saw a lot of things but I did not care
Finally, I turned around and looked what’s inside
I got the surprise of my life, that’s what I like!

The gift of words flowed out so beautifully
Like water to stream, like birds in the wind
I have opened the most wonderful gift ever
And this time I will share it with others

I have come full circle, that I am sure of
The treasure within me had beed unraveled
There’s no other way for me but to move forward
So I start my amazing journey with this poem
