I want to love the Truth.
If I only want to want it,
that's a start,
but it's not enough.
I want to love the Truth,
even if it hurts my disgusting pride.
The fires of hell burn hotter
and God's judgment is eternally final.
His grace is sufficient,
even with the loving edge of His truth.
I do not desire the trials of this world to drive me so cold
as to disdain what Jesus has counseled.
