To think i live in this world and yet do not have to like it, appreciate it or even think about it is apparently negligent. Yet seriously thinking about it, it is a good way of living it.

It is very disheartening to do a thing you would have done when you where still in the slumbers. Yet because of us living and loving this world, we are drawn to love this world more because of arrogance and the vain thought that there is an inheritance for us on earth!

I heard a pastor preach. He said that one thing he knew was that the world system is the system of the devil. The thought of buying and selling, that of education as a priority and all these other ways of life that have exposed us to all sorts of troubles!

You'll do good to realize that when Jesus Christ told the parable of the sower, he mentioned a group that would receive the world very well, yet be clogged by the things & cares of this world. He was really strong on the fact that we tend to listen more to the demands of the life and world we live in , than the demands that come from heaven.

This is why a parent would see it more reasonable to install internet for educational purposes at his home, yet knowing enough that this is the same medium that carries wicked content! That's an example of heeding a demand of the earth over that of heaven, which is to save a soul!

I've heard people say "to educate a child is to kill the child" But I'll say that to educate the child is wasteful, yet to educate it without giving them life in Christ Jesus is a shame. That's why i ask God to kill me, yet saving my soul; than for me to live as an educated fool!
