Modern Day Famine
Where Is The Money

There is a famine in the land today! A famine not of meat and drink but faith, favor, and sacrifices. We the people of God has leaned on our own understanding for so long God himself cannot break through to us to change. The sinner sins, what do they have to do to change? Not only do the sinner sin, but the believers also. We have today so many Christians committing sin in the House of God. God forbid!

The Devil himself have manifested himself once again in the Holy place. He manifested evil in Heaven and now he is here in the earth still manifesting himself as an angel of light. Well guess what, Satan was kicked out of Heaven for the evil that rose up in his heart to overthrow God. That spirit he had them he is still manifesting it in the earth today to draw man away from God. How can we say we love God and do some of the things we do to our brothers and sisters? God is not taking that lightly, you reap what you sow. Not only are we suffering a natural famine but a spiritual one as well.

The Church today holds all the money along with China. America is facing a famine in the area of finances because people have been drained of money by the Church. The money is not being put back into the economy causing a problem in the exchange. If money is not spent, then the demand is there for it in the economy but the supply is low. When supply do not meet demand the country faces a famine because the economy is not working. The church holds all the money and so feels that this is God's way. We have bankrupt our country. We have robbed the whole nation.

The Church was told by Jesus to render unto Caesar what was due him. We build big churches and the sinner stands right at our doors and sell drugs, or prostitutes hang on the church steps. Where is the respect the church once had? The Church was called to save souls but somewhere along the way we have lost the desire to win souls. We lay our alms before men to be seen of them and we have lost our reward. We still go on though in Jesus name.

We have to show the world that my church is bigger than yours. It's like the competition Satan had going on in Heaven before he was kicked. People we have put our trust in buildings that will not profit when we stand before God. There is no prayer or sacrifices being made on the part of the people because too many wandering souls lingers the street today. The Church is supposed to make the difference. One can put a thousand to chase and two ten thousand. Where is the Power the Church once had?

Salvation brought about a change in the lives of people. Now everybody is saved because they come to church and put their name on the role. The Church name is usually the name of Pastor or founder. Man has not founded a church, the Church of Jesus Christ is already established. Watch out church! Watch out. Every body is sounding off their alarms in the church saying look what I have done. Its nothing your have done, it's what Jesus has already done. Jesus is the one to be magnified, not man. Man is steady sounding off their alarm when they bring glory to themselves rather than God.

Many have the glory of men now, but God said he would have no one before him. We set ourselves up to be measured against God, and not each other. The same things man does in the streets, its being done in the church also. The Church has to be humbled. We are in competition to see who is the greatest among us. We need to humble ourselves and get rid of that spirit of pride before it destroys us. Blessed is the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:3-4, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble themselves as a little child the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Why did Jesus say this? He said it because he understood the nature of man to be seen. Man is puffed up and full of pride without the Spirit of God operating in their lives. We are called to be servants of the most high God. When we humble our self to the mighty hand of God, we put away childish acts and walk as men. We have shut up the kingdom of heaven against men with our hypocritical ways. Matthew 23:5, but all their works they do for to be seen of men; they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments. We tear down the pure in heart, honor God with our lips, making pretense that we have it all together when we don't and we call on the name of the Lord like He is highly esteemed.

But God knows our hearts. He knows rather we are doing the things he has told us to do or not. Luke 6:46, And why call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say. We have a problem doing what God tells us when it is not conducive to our flesh. Hosea was told to marry a woman of the night. Hosea was the prophet of love and his name signifies salvation and he was familiar with Israel's religion and life.

Hosea was a preacher, one called by God. Hosea also obeyed what God told him to do even though it was not his desire. Hosea 1:2, the beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea, go take unto thee a Wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord. What must Hosea have thought about this direct order from God? God you want me to get a wife and one of whoredom that have slept with over half the city? God this cannot be you talking to me, God wanted to show Hosea what He goes through every day with those that say they love Him. Hosea married Gomer and she would be okay one moment then the next she went wild. She had children that was not her husbands. The Love Hosea had for God kept him taking her back. Time and time again she left. Finally when she was put on the block for sale Hosea went and paid the price to get her back. How much more God? God has redeemed us and we like Gomer still leave him when we want to. It's time out for tricks and gimmicks in the church. It's time out to stop robbing the people of God and giving them no service. The Word stands alone and don't need help, but it needs someone to obey it.

God's Favor, Faith, and Sacrifice has been taken advantage of and He is getting ready to pull the covers back again and reveal man's nasty ways. Be aware, He is coming. There is no honor among theives and if you will steal then you will lie and if you lie you will kill. A Modern Day Famine is happening in the church for Spiritual things and the Gifts of God operating in the church again is a must. Do or Die!
