Get Past The People
They Say, What They Say, Let Them Say

We don't know the road we take, but God does. When Jesus is in the Way we will walk therein. While we are walking this walk of Christ our ways are not His ways, nor our thoughts his. God's scope is past our little finite minds. One thing we know about Christianity, there are those that is with us and those that hang around but don't mean you no good. Don't make an oath with the Devil, there are those that pretend they love God and us. I was lying across the bed and God told me to do some thing. The Devil say you know those people are busy and don't have time to hear you, but after God spoke a second time I had to call and relay the message. The person called knew what God was saying even if I didn't know the message. It was not for me but him. Somethings we allow to disturb God's peace in our lives is of no importance. We have to get passed what the people says. When our attitude is to do God's Will, every body have something to do. Every body has an opinion for just about every thing in life. As long as we know what God has said, we must stay the course and allow what God says to reign in our hearts.

Never in my years of being saved have I run into so many false Saints. These Christians disagree with everything you say and even if its the Word that they refuse to hear. Accept we come to the Lord we have no life we are the walking dead. God's Word don't abide in us as it should. He said we are to search the scriptures, for in them ye think you have eternal life and they are they which testify of me said Jesus. Jesus told us who He was. He made manifest himself that we would not be carried off by church work instead of the Word. Church work has it's place but what God says in His Word is eternal. Get past the people. Romans 11:33-34, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God; how unsearchable are his judgments and His Ways are past finding out. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counselor?

We have to get past the people to continue on this journey. Sure we have grace and mercy but we still can end up lifting our heads in hell. We listen to them that say what they say and we need to let them say. All that we can give God don't compare with the sacrifices he made to us. For of him and through him, and to him, are all things; to whom be glory forever. No one is to think that they are more than anyone else, for we were all made equal. Its God's grace that we are not consumed. All souls are mine said the Lord, therefore all souls are to be subject unto the higher powers; for there is no power but of God, the powers that be are ordained of God. Get to the page of what God said its the gospel. Don't resist the power though; not resisting the ordinance of God for if we resist the power of God we will receive damnation. We should be scared or shamed to do some of the things we do, not considering God or his powers. We cannot praise God with a lying mouth, evil ear, unclean thoughts and a heart filled with wrath.

Jesus came to minister to us for good. But if we do those things that is evil God will cut us down; we hear the Word in vain. God is a revenger to execute wrath upon him that do evil. Even the man in authority is not a terror to good. Joseph was a man that was put in position to save his people. He went through some things that could have taken his life many times but he remained true to his God. Joseph had to get past his brothers cruelty and jealousy. He had to get past the fact that they sold him into Egypt when he was seventeen years old. He went to check on his brothers that was feeding the flocks to inquire about their welfare. Sometimes we will be persecuted for caring about others. Upon arriving at Shechem, he learned that they had moved on to Dothan, and he followed them. When Joseph's brothers saw him they proposed slaying him and reporting to his father that a wild beast had devoured him. We also will be lied on. We will be sold out but we must put God first regardless. You see Joseph had to get pass his brothers jealousy and see the better good of God. Joseph was the eleventh child of the twelve sons of Jacob, and the first child of Rachel. Joseph was special to Jacob because he loved Rachel and Joseph was born of Jacobs old age. Joseph was his fathers favorite because he was born during his father's advanced age. Sometimes we will be persecuted by those that are close to us. They hurt us the most because they are close to us and they will lie on you. We the people of God have to get past that; they say, what they say, let them say. Joseph had to get pass the fact that his brothers hated him so much. His father had given Joseph a coat, a tunic, fine enough to excite envy. Just as Joseph's brothers was envious of him and the relationship he had with his father. People will envy your relationship you have with God and Man. We have to make up our mind that we will not be swayed by what anybody says or does when it comes to the Word of God and God's plans being carried out. Joseph had favor with God and man and this favor often brought Joseph ill will throughout his life. His ability to dream and interpret dreams excited envy in others. Our talents, ability, and faith will bring us places where the goodness of the Lord is not the main focus in the life of the others. However we must trust God when we have no where else to go. Our faith and trust in God will take us places we never dreamed would happen in our lives. After Joseph interpreted the dreams of the chief baker and the chief butler of Pharaoh they forgot to tell the King about Joseph as he had instructed them. They forgot Joseph after they had been set free. People forget where they were and who it was that helped them get to where they are. People will sell you out rather than speak up in your behalf. Joseph became a slave in bondage to the enemy, sold to the Egyptians instead of dying because his brother Reuben had a little conscience

Even in the midst of all this God will have someone to encourage your will. Reuben disapproved of killing Joseph and suggested that he be thrown alive into a pit, and later restored to his father, but in Reuben's absence Joseph was sold to the Midianite's merchantmen who were accompanying a caravan of Ishmaelites to Eghpt. People will also sell us out because God's favor is upon us or our gifts surpass theirs. These boys killed another lad and dipped Joseph's tunic in the blood and brought it to their father deceiving Jacob into thinking his favorite son was dead, torn to pieces by some wild beast.

These boys made their own father think their brother was dead even though they knew it would almost kill him. They didn't care as long as it got them what they wanted, but God. They say, what they say, let them say because what God has for you to do, you will. Joseph held on until his changed came. Never would he have thought that the gift God had placed in him was for a time to be used. Our gifts will bring us before great men. They will bring glory to God and not a man. The gifts of God keep us humble and having a trust in God like no other. In spite of we love God. You see after while Pharaoh needed an interpreter to interpret his dreams that no one in the kingdom was qualified, capable and dependable. God just happen to have someone in his jail with these abilities. Alone with Joseph's gift working came promotion. He went from the pit of the palace to the position of Superintendent of the royal granaries and as such, one of the officials next in rank to the King. We have to be humbled through our suffering. Joseph was now thirty years old now and for thirteen years he suffered chastening that was undue. We will go through things that is unfair to us, but God will use what we went through to bring change to a nation. What were they saying then when they found that Joseph was alive and had been put in position to supply the need of his native people that they would live and not die. We don't always know the way we take but God does. If we stay the course of righteousness and holiness we will reap and not faint. Joseph kept walking back and forth, he kept his eyes on God and he trusted God. Are we willing to pay the price of loving God? We the chosen people of God will suffer persecution just as Joseph did, as well as Jesus did and all of the in between.

Jesus, Joseph, Ruth, Esther, David and Jonathan is just a few that was chosen to save their people from death, sin, and destruction. Where do we fit in the equation of the life of a Saint? We need the favor of God, faith and Holy Ghost power to keep us in this way. We walk in the here and now and our lives are exposed for God. Fight the good fight of faith even when you have been beat up and down. God all the way with God. Get past the people, they say, what they say, let them say. God bless you, Amen.
