Reminiscings

Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (KJV)

When your teen years had begun
Did you see you at forty-one?
Somehow time just slips away
And youth seems only yesterday.

Your next threshold is nine years more
But who of us is keeping score.
You’re just as young as how you think
Tough life goes by in just a blink.

You cannot turn your life’s clock back,
So keep the faith and stay on track.
It’s easy to get led astray
By simple things that come our way.

It won’t be long till kids are grown
And follow seeds that we have sown.
When they too turn forty-one
My time with God will have begun.
