“Tears of Heaven”



What do you do when you see a child crying? Perhaps when your very own God Given flesh and blood is in tears?



“Tears of Heaven”



Well, not so long ago, I have taken my son for his scheduled cricket game with lots of excitement ahead. This little guy was so hyper through the entire week, looking forward for his game, he could not talked about anything else except as to how he going to ball and bat in the game. The day arrived and we went. It was bright and warm with bit of wind but nothing else which could spoil the fun. Kids were running around and all parents were preparing to get ready for the game. A dear friend and I, both of us setting up our “camp” for the day, doing all the necessary works which was required. Food and other refreshments were ready for the little people in case when the drink breaks being called. We could say, it was all good…



Our team was elected to ball first and it went quite well. Food were ready for the break and after that, back to start with the batting. My boy was called up to bat first so the long period of waiting was over for him. But at the second ball his stumps were destroyed. And so as his little heart. Looking it from a distance, I could not see his face first because of the helmet he was wearing. Shoulders were dropped with a heavy heart and a head which was looking at the ground only. I walked towards him and we met half way on the field. By this time he has taken his helmet off, and I could see his little face. Smudgy little face with left over suntan lotion and with rivers of tears… Crying wholeheartedly… I just held his head, wiping off all the tears and said to him…”Buddy, look at me…Look at Daddy”…and finally he looked up. I said again…”Buddy, it’s ok, it’s happens but everything is going to be alright.”



We walked back together the remaining meters to our little camp, where a little more talks and hugs with some refreshments did the trick, and my boy was able watch the game from the side.

Meditating on this little incident, it has came through my heart…How many times God Has Wiped my tears? And yours? Possibly we don’t even remember but He Will Know every tear we have dropped and what we still going to drop.



And He Said:



“My Boy, your tears are always well received here in Heaven. I Call it the Tears of Heaven”.
