“The Discipline within”
Be Blessed Dear Friend,
“The Discipline within”
Do you recall the amount of “discipline” you may have received as child from you parents? Maybe it was too much or too little, but surely we are all remembering it still. Well, it didn’t happen any other way with me either and I still do remember to some of those discipline practices which was very much in force by mom and dad. And I am grateful for those disciplines, without a doubt, even when it was hurting from time to time.
But how about being disciplined within our adult life…? Who can or would discipline us while we are grown ups? Meaning and writing about the Divine Discipline of God, when it happened in our lives…or still happening. Doing something what we are not suppose to perhaps and therefore God’s Love being revealed to us in the form of a discipline. Being harsh sometimes, or gentle, but yes, being disciplined. And further more the importance of that Act is that we understand and fully acknowledge that, that is an intervention from Him and because that intervention is from Him, therefore that is out of Love. His Love.
Hence being born in a human flesh, the necessary Wisdom does not reveal it’s self immediately to understand that. Tough time comes and goes or should we call it “disciplining” times. Often we think that we left in the dark and things go bad because He just don’t care. And that is wrong! Because He Does Care... And through His Disciplining Methods, we remain being guided by Him even if it hurt sometimes.
I remember chatting to a dear friend sometime ago and we said it is important that we do know and acknowledge God in every possible way, but more importantly we need to ask our selves the question as well, that does God Knows us?
And when we are really down and under of all the pressures of this world, while things just do not turn out as it should, we need to remind our selves of one thing…that we could be “Disciplined” or differently being guided in fact. By Him. Because He Knows you and me.
Ask your self the following question…Would I discipline somebody if I don’t know that person?
To be continued…
God Bless,
George.
