“The Freedom within”



Be Blessed Dear Friend,



“The Freedom within”



“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free”(Gospel of John 8;36 NLT)



We are free… In many ways… We are free because we freely can/could choose as to in Whom we wish to place our faith. And God’s Gift to us is to set us free as well. To live without sins and fears… Wonder how many times we actually think about this and let’s be honest, it is not something we think around everyday but the bottom line is that we can be free, if we choose to live that way.



Hence at a very recent men’s breakfast, I came to the realization of this beautiful fact. The guest speaker at this breakfast came a long way in his journey to be able to claim his spiritual and physical freedom. Coming from his home country Afghanistan, has provided lot of challenges from growing up till his adult life. No freedom given to choose as to what to believe in, but rather you being told, that this is what you going to believe in. And if that is not the case, perhaps because you rebel against your family tradition and religion, you may leave and never return. And he left without returning to his home, till today. Hmm…the word “home” kind of mean something else maybe?



And today, Amir, traveling the world as a faithful disciple of Christ… Goes from places to places around the globe to claim God’s Kingdom and sharing the Good News with everyone who wants to hear it…and he is free because of Him!



And perhaps we should also think about of our very own freedom…particularly, as to what are we doing with this whole lot of freedom being given to us?
