“Letters from…”



I would like to ask you a question…when was the last time when you received a letter from someone? I am not talking about when you opened your emails today or yesterday or when you opening your monthly mail from different institutions. No. I am talking about a proper letter. Handwritten outside the envelope and inside the envelope all the papers are handwritten with a handwritten name of the person who send the letter to you. That is a letter. And you cannot wait to open it because you know where the letter came from. Tearing up the envelope (do you still remember the sound of it?) and you begin to read the content of the letter and this letter is full of good news. It is such good news for you, that you keep re-reading it till of course you think now you know the entire letter back to back so you put it down for a while. But being a human, you think, “I might have missed something previously”, therefore you reading it again…and again…and again.



“Letters from…”



A few weeks ago in my quiet times, I was busy reading Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians. Not all at once of course but through several weeks, and in one morning I got this “different” feeling about reading these chapters. Kind of felt being tired of reading them? Perhaps. I almost used the word, I was bored reading them. Don’t worry, the religious spirit right now telling all of us that we are not allowed ever to be bored reading the Bible and therefore my action was wrong and it’s like blasphemy. Hence I still asked God as to why I felt that way, right there as it happened.



And the Lord Said:



“My Boy, you are reading your Bible with a religious spirit, one chapter after another without knowing what you reading. You are reading it like a “book” instead reading it as My Living Words. And as for the chapters which you are reading now and you feeling bored about it, they are My Letters and I Told Paul to write them. Yes, you reading letters which were send to you from Me.”



And now I understood how these chapters need it to be handled…it’s came in an envelope…with the sender’s name on it and it’s addressed to me…and he telling me in his letters that…



“Hi Georgie, Hope you are still well and managing to maintain that simple thing I have asked you last time, to look after your faith. Time to time it is a bit difficult I know but at least you can read these letters in day light or at night or at anytime you wish so, instead of being in a prison with just a candle light being available to you. And please, do not recycle these papers, you will need them till the real Sender Will Arrive on day.”



Yes, that is how I arrived to the understanding of “Letters from…Paul”. Thank You, Lord!
