Good Morning Dear Friend,



“The Intervention within”



As always, we often like to talk about our God as the Loving God and/or the Kind God or the Powerful God. And it’s all true and we should be saying it at all the time. Sometimes though we even say a Hiding God…nowhere to be seen and we not so sure what God Is up to every now and again… I am sure we all been there before.



But how about calling or just think about The God with Intervention…The Person Who Will Come and Intervene on our behalf…The Person with the Plan…every time.

Reading an interesting piece just another day, made me think about it for a while, about God’s Intervention…



“The Intervention within”



Picture this…

“God Did not had to put puzzle pieces together when He Decided that Mary will be the earthy mother of Jesus. No! He Intervened and Decided that she will be the person who will give birth to Christianity. Because that was His Plan…to intervene. And of course just to make His point, He chose a virgin girl with a loving carpenter on her side. The Child of God had to born in difficult circumstances. All rooms were taken up at the Inn of Bethlehem (another intervention), and therefore there was no other place for the family to deliver their baby boy but in a barn at the back of the Inn. With full of animals, urine smell of these animals all over the place (did you thought it was hygienically up to scratch? Think again please…) which of course you may agree it was not an ideal place to deliver a child. Hmm…God just Knew so much better. No helping hands around them to make their place a bit more comfortable, just a bunch of half a sleep shepherds outside on the fields whom were finished counting their flock for the night. What a scene! The One had to born like this! But because God Has Intervened, it had to be that way. No blankets, no pillows for comfort The One, just a few sheet of clothing from mom and dad and a manger just to sleep in it”.



You may never thought about it as it written above and I admit, it was the same with me. We “prefer” to picture this earth-shaking intervention as The One was delivered in “normal” circumstances, people helping Mary around amongst all the comfort we can imagine. But we should not look at this or any other Intervention of God with a blurry eye. We should see it as it was, and as it happened and as it still going to happen…to understand that our Almighty will forever intervene on our behalf. And just the by the way, the Tomb did belonged to somebody else as well hence it was “borrowed” for a purpose.



For a Mighty Purpose…



Just like the song said:



“People call me a stranger,

But my best Friend born in a manger”
