“The Wound within”



This particular story perhaps would be a bit deeper than what you have read before, and perhaps it would also help you to understand more if you did read “The Wild at Heart” book before. Long and short of it, I was privileged to attend to a “manner kamp” not so long ago. Yes, the kind of camp where you only need to take with your self one thing, and that is your heart. The camp was an absolute adventure on it’s own with only real basics being organized. Being a big fan of the outdoor life, I could say I was really at “home”. And the weekend was about “faith full-hearts”. The number of men who went for this camp was less but the abundant blessings were more. God’s Way, without a doubt!



Walk to rocky hills, sitting on giant size rocks beside of the river, finding a spot in the bush to sit and reflect on our very own journey by our self but knowing that our Almighty Was Present, were all part of the weekend. Sitting around the fire at night while the air getting colder and its pitch dark otherwise, was just refreshing to all hearts. With Godly worships. Digging deeper and deeper in our hearts…



I have mentioned the book earlier because we were able to watch the dvd version of this book in one of the nights. Episode by episode, slowly but surely. The book and the dvd do refer to an interesting and existing challenge which we may all have in our lives (and if you don’t, that’s mean you are not searching perhaps) and that is our wounds which we carry within our souls. Not sins, not regrets or anger. Just wound(s). A wound which you may have picked up unwontedly through your family in your childhood or more specifically for us as young kids or younger man we have picked up from our fathers. Something which we did not want but hence it remained in us for a long time… That is why it was a men camp…



When I read the book a few years back, meditating on this “wound” part, I tried so hard to figure it out. But nothing was revealed to me about this that time but still I had great blessings out of it, just the way I begun to look at my entire family for the way forward. Especially my boy…look at him the way I was never been looked at… But at the camp, the wound(s) finally surfaced and hit me hard. Pieces of my past started to make sense or perhaps what made sense that time did not matter at all anymore. Going through, piece by piece of each wound, tears after tears, (yes I had a lot to deal with) were kept falling of from my heart like the sizes of the rocks were I was sitting in the day next to the river. They say, Cowboys don’t cry…sure they do.



Finding these wounds of course is one thing, but to dealing with them is another. But God Did both for me…He Surfaced these wounds firstly to face them with me and He Brought Healing to my soul too. He Can Do It for you too.



Wounds are out there to be Healed...By Him…. Only...



Let your wounds to be Healed.
