How long O'Lord will the wicked be in power
while the poor and hunger, make their souls fat
Come forth O'Lord and speed our help
let their greed, make them small, as a knat
Disperse angles to lift the poor and needy
let the victory, cry be known
Extend more grace and mercy upon them
Lord let us hear from your heavenly throne
Let your children say, it is well
The Lord our King has visited us
Tell the hills be silent, and valley's open up
for in our God we have put our trust
Say ye one to another"
That the glory of the Lord has appear
unto his prophets, that he has chosen
so rejoice, and do not fear
Like the birth of a child, we shall come forth
weaned from the word, that, God gives
It is now the time to rejoice for awhile
Now O'souls go on and live
God will melt away the sorrows
Heal the broken and the wounded heart
He will renew our joy and strength
and every ounce of mercy, he will impart
The sure mercies of David, doth, he render
and the meek and humble, he will feed
What love our God has for us
Who comes to supply our every need
His anointing will flow just like a river
He will pour it out upon the land
He will put more power in his people
and they, will surly stand
The anointing will be like fire
that will quence every thirst there be
Upon his people he will let it fall
and say, these things, shall be of me
Whatever we touch he will bless
Whatever is spoken, shall come to pass
Wherever you walk it can be yours
and where it's dry it will grow and last
Rise up O'souls and give God thanks
for giving you this day
Make loud your claps, for him bringing you out
and going before you to clear the way
