When life throws it's many stones
casting everything at you
No time to duck, it's already upon us
and it's nothing that we can co
A stone of every, trick and trade
A few small one's, but most are big
then a thought, why little O' me!
How many holes will life's troubles dig?
One time it was smooth and sailing
not one cloud was in the sky,
The trouble was ok" until they doubled
causing the mouth, spew forth, the word why.
Not yet recovered, here comes some more
Can you believe it, the winds joined the gang
and when I looked again, the sun was gone
and up above the rain had sprang.
But what could I say, I became speechless
this test is trying to drive me insane
But the humor of it all brought out a chuckle
and I thanked God I still knew my name
Then I thought, God must have a sense of humor
while seeing me, tossed to and fro
trying very hard to ride it through
and going along, with the flow
but I knew God my director gives staring roles
and if I win, my reward will be great
So I must always remember to move on his cue,
for he alone has my mandate
and if I gave up, while in the test
I wouldn't learn what I need to know
that in everything there is a purpose
so why not let him, direct, the whole show.
