'O Heavenly father full of grace
how good you are to me
Your presence is known all around
even at time when I can't see

Your love is strong it holds me dear
when at times, life gets the best of me
Your calmness stills me, through and through
oh how great your power can be

In the midnight hour I feel your peace
it keeps me safe and calm
Your(serenity) is there, it fills the room
for you hold me in your palms

Oh Lord at times I can't find words
to express just, how I really feel
So please intervene for my behalf
and I'll do all I can to yield

To all that you have to give to me
until your purpose in me be fulfilled
And I pray each day and night to you
that you'll help me, to stay in your will

And Lord just in-case I fail on the way
don't give up on me I pray
But just, let your spirit, lead and guide me
in the right direction, every day

For this place of safety I found in you
it's like nothing I felt before
And all that I am, and hope to be
I know with you, it's no big chore

Even in my silence my thoughts are heard
in those quiet hours you didn't forget
that each and one, of my requests
so in waiting, help me your word, to except

And O' Lord grant me your word of wisdom
that I may trust your leading way
Plus forget the past so I can press forward
knowing, there lies ahead, a better day
