If your still going around that same old mountain
then it's time to change your course
Retract your steps and make new ones
for the trail your on only brings remorse

Leave the past behind and change your climb
and reach beyond and capture the stars
Take a hold of hope, and let it be your rope
and it will surly carry you far

Suspended in time can become a burden
and the weights can stop you in your tracks
Such loads can keep you bound and gaged
causing one to always look back

What's done is done you can't undo
tell guilt to go take a hike
Release yourself from those sorrows within
and let your faith become your spike

To nail them down under your feet
so you can conquer each step you take
And tell that spirit of bondage to loose it's hold
and whatever noose on you will break

Speak words of life not words of death
for success lies in the power of the tongue
Speak those things as though they are
for everything hangs on the words you have hung

For things are weighed by what we say
also a big part in what we do
So lets not keep going around that mountain
and claim a higher and better view

Now these words are to encourage and to enlighten
to help one see the light of hope
For it's easy to accept the negative in life
when there's no positive in helpng one to cope
