I Wonder How It Must Of Felt


I wonder how it must of felt
To be descended to your birth
To be hungry, cold and tired
Subjected to the ways of this earth

I wonder how it must of felt
For you life you had to prepare
Knowing the pain and suffering
And all you’d have to bare

I wonder how it must of felt
To make friends that were so true
Only to have them leave you
As if you were someone they never knew

I wonder how it must of felt
Those whips ripping you all apart
You could of called ten thousand angels
And from this life you could depart

I wonder how it must of felt
When the first nail pierced your skin
Knowing that you must do this
To pay for all of our sin

I wonder how it must of felt
The day you were raised from the dead
I thank you dear sweet Jesus
For doing exactly what you said
